White Helmets nogmaals ontmaskert als terreurorganisatie: de oprichter is een Britse ex-huurling…….

Whitney Webb publiceerde gisteren op MintPress News een artikel over de White Helmets, ik kreeg het artikel via Anti-Media.

James Le Mesurier, een ex-huurling (huurlingen zijn bijna zonder uitzondering psychopaten), heeft de White Helmets in 2013 opgericht, zoals al eens eerder op deze plek gesteld*.

Niet vreemd dus dat de White Helmets i.p.v. een hulporganisatie te zijn, een organisatie is die ten dienste staat van terreurorganisaties in Syrië, terreurgroepen die de democratisch gekozen regering Assad bevechten, middels een ongehoorde terreur op de burgerbevolking. Overigens begon e.e.a. met een door de VS opgezette en gefinancierde opstand, waarvoor de VS in 2006 de eerste stappen zette….. De VS heeft voorts terroristen van Al Qaida en IS, na de geslaagde VS coup tegen het bewind van Khadaffi, uit Libië vervoerd richting Syrië en hen van wapens en training voorzien…. Waarom vraagt u? Simpel, de vader van Assad en later Assad zelf, weigerden een gaspijpleiding over hun grondgebied richting (West-) Europa………**

Het slimme aan de zaak is de opzet van de White Helmets als hulporganisatie, die de beschikking heeft over professionele apparatuur waarmee ze video’s maken en deze naar het westen doorspelen. Artsen die video’s van deze W.H. zagen, stellen dat de leden van deze terreurorganisatie niet eens begrijpen wat ze moeten doen, als ze bijvoorbeeld zogenaamd een kind willen redden, de getoonde handelingen zijn contraproductief, handelingen waarvoor men ook overduidelijk al gedode kinderen gebruike…….. Met andere woorden: als die handelingen op een gewond kind zouden worden uitgeoefend, is het bijna zeker dat zo’n kind zal overlijden!!

Ook dat is niet vreemd, daar de White Helmets een militaire training onder supervisie van Le Mesurier hebben ondergaan……. Waar de White Helmets, naast het maken van bedrieglijke video’s, wel goed in zijn, is bijvoorbeeld het assisteren bij executies van burgers, door de door het westen als zogenaamde ‘gematigde rebellen’ aangeduide terreurgroepen, die op IS na, allen gelieerd zijn aan Al Qaida (of al-Nusra, zoals men deze terreurgroep in Syrië noemt)…… Terreurgroepen die zonder uitzondering door Saoedi-Arabië worden voorzien van geld en wapens (die op hun beurt uit o.a. de VS en Groot-Brittannië komen……)

Le Mesurier richtte de White Helemts op in Turkije en kreeg daar in eerste instantie $ 300,000 .– voor van de VS, Groot-Brittannie en Japan (plus Nederland*) , een bedrag dat hij in korte tijd wist op te pompen tot 123 miljoen dollar!!

– Over
the past two years, enlightening information has been revealed that
thoroughly and unequivocally debunks the “humanitarianism” of the
White Helmets in Syria, sometimes referred to as the Syrian Civil
Defense.

Since
they were founded in 2013, much of Western media has sought to
elevate the White Helmets as the “bravest” and most heroic of
Syrians. They have been the subject of a Netflix
documentary,
which won an Oscar, and has consistently been plastered across TV
screens in surprisingly well-produced videos showing them removing
children from rubble in war-torn areas claimed by Syria’s “rebels.”

However,
missing from this unambiguously positive coverage has been the
group’s ties to terrorist groups like
al-Qaeda,
their doctoring
of footage,
their role in
executing civilians and
their use of children – both dead and alive – as
props for
producing pro-intervention
propaganda.
Also absent is how the White Helmets have received over
$123 million from
2013 to 2016 from the U.S. and UK governments, as well as Western
NGOs and Gulf state monarchies.

While
numerous articles have been devoted to dispelling the propaganda that
surrounds the group and detailing their shady ties to known terrorist
organizations like Syria’s al-Qaeda branch Al-Nusra Front,
significantly less attention has been focused on how the group was
created, particularly on the man who founded them – James Le
Mesurier, a British private security specialist, and former British
military intelligence officer.

Le
Mesurier’s role in founding the White Helmets and propagating its
mythology to a Western audience

was
exposed in 2015 thanks to the work of independent journalist Vanessa
Beeley.

Beeley,
who spoke to MintPress News at length for this report, notes that it
was Le Mesurier’s “‘realization that humanitarian aid was more
effective at maintaining war than an army” that
spurred his creation of the organization in order “to maintain
public support for another costly war in a country that is, in
reality, posing little to no threat to mainland America” or its
allies.

James
Le Mesurier: from mercenary to “humanitarian”

Though
mainstream narratives have
suggested that
the White Helmets were trained by the Red Cross, the White Helmets
were actually
founded in
March 2013 by Le Mesurier. He, like many officers in the British
military, attended the Royal Military Academy, where he graduated at
the top of his class, receiving the Queen’s Medal.


He later
served in
the British Army and operated in a variety of theaters. Most notably,
Le Mesurier served as intelligence coordinator for Pristina City in
Kosovo soon after the NATO intervention that led to NATO being
accused of
war crimes for its targeting of thousands of civilians and media.

By
2000, Le Mesurier left the army and went to work for the United
Nations as he had “realized
humanitarian aid was more effective”
than an army in theaters of war during his time with the British
military. He, again, served in a variety of locations, focusing
on “delivering
stabilization activities through security sector and democratization
programs.” According to Le Mesurier, “stabilization activities”
refers to the “framework for engagement in ‘fragile’ states”
or, in other words, destabilized nations.

Prior
to his founding of the White Helmets, Le Mesurier served
as Vice
President for Special Projects at the
Olive Group,
a private mercenary organization that has since merged with
Blackwater-Academi into what is now known as Constellis Holdings.
Then, in 2008, Le Mesurier left the Olive Group after he was
appointed to the position of Principal at Good Harbor Consulting,
chaired by Richard
A. Clarke –
a veteran of the U.S. national security establishment and the
counter-terrorism “czar” under the Bush and Clinton
administrations.

After
joining Good Harbor, Le Mesurier became
based in
Abu Dhabi, where he specialized in risk management, emergency
planning, and critical infrastructure protection. He trained a UAE
gas field protection force and “ensured the safety” of the 2010
Gulf Cup in Yemen, a regional soccer tournament. But following this
work, Le Mesurier claims to have become dissatisfied, wanting to have
a more direct impact on the communities he worked in.

He told Men’s
Journal in
2014 that it was the idea of using his military training to benefit
civilians that truly enthused him: “the idea of being a civilian
carrying a weapon and guiding a convoy in a conflict zone — that
leaves me cold.”

White
Helmets founded through Western funding

When
it came to time to found the White Helmets in March 2013, Le Mesurier
seemed to have simply been in the right place at the right time.
According to his own account, he founded the group in Turkey after
being “compelled” by
Syrians’ wartime stories.

Despite
founding the White Helmets in Turkey, he raised $300,000 in seed
funding provided by the UK, the U.S. and Japan, which Le Mesurier
apparently had no trouble scrounging up. The $123 million dollars
that was funneled soon after to the organization by the U.S. and UK
governments, along with

Western
NGOs and Qatar, dispels all notion of the organization’s alleged
“impartiality” and “non-partisan” stance on the Syrian
conflict stated
on their website.

He
then used it to train 25 “vetted” Syrians “to deal with the
chaos erupting around them.” By September of that year, more than
700 “vetted” individuals were believed to have undergone training
under Le Mesurier’s supervision.

However,
Le Mesurier’s ties to British military intelligence, mercenary
groups and involvement in “stabilization activities” and
“democratization programs” suggest that his convenient appearance
in Istanbul, Turkey is perhaps not too coincidental. As Beeley noted
in an interview with MintPress: “there are very few coincidences in
the multi-spectrum, hybrid war that has been waged against Syria by
the U.S. coalition since 2011.”

Indeed,
the White Helmets were founded when the West was losing on both the
propaganda and military front regarding the push for regime change
and foreign intervention in Syria. More specifically, as Beeley told
MintPress, the group’s founding took place just after “the Syrian
government had raised concerns about a terrorist chemical weapon
attack in Khan Al Asal against the SAA [Syrian Arab Army].”

It
should come as no surprise then that, since their founding, the White
Helmets have been instrumental in blaming the Syrian government for
any and all subsequent chemical weapons attacks in Syria, acting as
both witnesses and responders to events that were
later proven to
be the work of the armed opposition in Syria or
staged.
As a result, Beeley argued that it’s well within reason to
speculate that the White Helmets were explicitly founded with this
purpose in mind.

However,
it is Le Mesurier himself who shed light on why the White Helmets
were formed at such a crucial point for the foreign-funded
opposition. As Le Mesurier noted
in a speechdelivered
on June 2015, in “fragile” (i.e. destabilized) states, security
actors – such as mercenaries or foreign armies – have the lowest
level of public trust. However, Le Mesurier states that in contrast,
those professions with the highest level of public trust in such
situations are firefighters, paramedics, rescue workers and other
similar types of first responders.

Le
Mesurier discusses the White Helmets in June 2015:

Le
Mesurier, however, is not the only figure linked to the British
military to take such a perspective. UK Admiral Sir Philip Jones,
Chief of Naval Staff, stated
last year that
“the hard punch of military power is often delivered inside the kid
glove of humanitarian relief.” It is for this reason that military
actions sponsored by the United States and its allies for the past
few decades have often been framed as “humanitarian
interventions.”

Thus,
the White Helmets were seen as a chance to reclaim the trust that the
Syrian opposition fighters had lost, as news of their affiliation
with terrorist groups began to spread.

In
reclaiming that trust in Western audiences, the White Helmets have
done nothing to ease the burden of war in Syria, but have fomented it
by underpinning the very propaganda that has kept the conflict raging
on for over six years, as well as undermined the ability of the
Syrian and Russian governments to secure diplomatic alternatives to
continued fighting.

Indeed,
despite their claim of “impartiality,” the White Helmets were
instrumental in
Western attempts to bolster international support for Western
intervention and a “no-fly zone” in Syria. However, such
intervention will bring much more devastation to Syria, something the
White Helmets profess to want to end.

Training
the White Helmets

While
the White Helmets have successfully been framed as a
professionally-trained first responder group active in Syria, there
is plenty of evidence suggesting that their training was entirely
different. First responders and doctors in other countries have been
skeptical about the “aid” the White Helmets have delivered.

For
instance, Dr. Leif Elinder, a Swedish pediatrician, told
the Indicter that
“after examination of the video material [of the White Helmets], I
found that the measures inflicted upon those children, some of them
lifeless, are bizarre, non-medical, non-lifesaving, and even
counterproductive in terms of life-saving purposes of children.”

Other
medical doctors have stated that other procedures conducted by the
White Helmets as seen in the previously mentioned Netflix documentary
were performed so poorly they would have killed the children, who
were already deceased when the footage was taken.

In
addition, first responder groups have
also found flaws with
the White Helmet’s trained rescues.

Questions
have been raised such as: how did the White Helmets know the bodies
would be exactly where they found them?; Why are no attacks heard or
seen in White Helmet videos – only the “aftermath”?; and why
have the White Helmets chosen to “recycle”
footage of
the people they are allegedly helping?

Thus,
if the White Helmets were not actually trained in first aid – as
the above suggests – what did Le Mesurier and his team actually
train them to do?

According
to Beeley, Le Mesurier trained the White Helmets as a military group,
as they have been found “working side by side with the Nusra Front
and other extremist groups such as Nour Al Din Zinki in East Aleppo,
where their ‘humanitarian’ centers were invariably alongside
Nusra Front or even in the same building.”

Noting
the White Helmet’s lack of paramedic expertise and the numerous
photographs showing them carrying weapons, she added that this
“confirms that their role has been as military and logistical
support for their Nusra Front colleagues.”

However,
the training received by the White Helmets likely did not stop there.

Beeley
strongly believes that they were given extensive training in the
production of propaganda – specifically, trained in camerawork and
video production in order to produce videos for the media. She noted
that “the sheer number of cameras on site at any one of their
rescue productions demonstrates that they are well versed in
publicity craft.”

Furthermore,
Beeley suggested that the White Helmet’s footage used in their
documentary also proves this point:

“The
Oscar-winning Netflix documentary that recorded their exploits was
based entirely on footage taken by the White Helmets themselves and
supplied to the producers of the movie who did not leave Turkey and
were therefore unable to verify the authenticity of the footage. The
quality of video supplied suggests that the White Helmets were using
sophisticated equipment and had been well trained in its use.

Thus,
this training has enabled the White Helmets to accomplish two major
goals for the governments and organizations that have orchestrated
its rise to prominence.

First,
as Beeley pointed out, it has facilitated “further proxy military
intervention and to incite pseudo-humanitarian outrage from the
International community and western public.”

Second,
it has allowed the atrocities of the extremist factions that work
with the White Helmets to be camouflaged by the “humanitarianism”
of the group, which has been instrumental in allowing foreign
governments to continue arming and funding these extremist, terrorist
organizations with complete impunity.

Le
Mesurier, for his part, has apparently become tired of the limelight
– perhaps as a result of the thorough debunking of the
terrorist-linked organization he fostered. Though still listed as an
employee of Good Harbor, Le Mesurier has
removed himself from
the site of MayDay Rescue, a White Helmets-linked organization he
founded, and all mention of him has
been erased from
the White Helmets website.

Nog steeds niet te geloven, het verschil in verslaggeving door de reguliere westerse media over de bevrijding van Oost-Aleppo en West-Mosul, al kan je wat de laatste betreft niet spreken over een bevrijding, daarover zo meer….

Gisteren bracht ANTIWAR het volgende bericht: militairen van de Iraakse strijdkrachten gaven maar al te graag toe, dat ze uitdrukkelijke orders kregen om tijdens ‘de bevrijding van West-Mosul’ op alles te schieten wat bewoog, dus ook op vrouwen en kinderen……….

Het aantal slachtoffers dat is gevallen is niet meer te schatten, daar het Iraakse leger grote delen van de stad bulldozert, ook als er slachtoffers onder het puin liggen……. De laatste 9 maanden zijn er volgens schattingen van deskundigen minstens 40.000 burgers omgekomen bij de strijd om West Mosul* (vooral door VS bombardementen, die in t.t.t. de bevrijding van Aleppo tot het eind toe werden volgehouden……)….

Ook na de bevrijding begaat het Iraakse leger oorlogsmisdaden, zo vertelde een majoor uit dit leger, dat mensen worden vermoord die vanwege de dorst water proberen te halen uit de rivier de Tigris…….. Journalisten die hier opnamen van maakten werden onder handen genomen en hun geheugenkaarten werden gewist……..

Kortom terwijl er meer dan voldoende bewijs is, van enorme oorlogsmisdaden door het Iraakse leger**, verschijnen daar amper of geen berichten over in de reguliere media………. Dezelfde reguliere media die volkomen hysterisch tekeergingen tegen het Syrische leger en de Russen bij de bevrijding van Oost-Aleppo….. Hysterisch n.a.v. berichten verspreidt door de ‘gematigde rebellen’, ofwel psychopathische moordenaars en verkrachters van aan Al Qaida gelieerde terreurgroepen…… Berichten die o.a. werden opgetekend uit berichtgeving van het Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR), een éénmansorganisatie van een gewezen Syrische misdadiger, die zijn nepnieuws (fake news) haalde bij dezelfde terreurgroepen……..

Na de bevrijding van Oost-Aleppo bleef de afhankelijke westerse pers berichten brengen over gruwelijkheden tegen de bevolking van dat stadsdeel, gruwelijkheden die men tot op de dag van vandaag niet heeft kunnen bewijzen…………

Dezelfde westerse pers had ook al geen aandacht voor het feit, dat de VS West-Mosul tot het laatst toe bleef bombarderen (een stad met burgers bombarderen is een ernstige oorlogsmisdaad volgens het Verdrag van Genève…..)……. Bombardementen op een oud stadsdeel met dicht op elkaar staande huizen, een plek waar de schade plus het aantal burgerslachtoffers zo mogelijk nog veel groter is dan bij een bombardement op een gewone, niet al te oude stad…… Zo stopten de Syrische luchtmacht en de Russen al twee maanden voor de bevrijding van Oost-Aleppo met bombarderen, dit om zoveel mogelijk burgerslachtoffers te voorkomen…..

Ach ja de VS, de grootste terreurentiteit op aarde, vindt dat het onder en boven de internationale wetgeving staat……..

Iraqi
Forces Eagerly Admit Their Orders Were to Kill Women and Children in
Mosul

(ANTIWAR.COM) — The
extremely ugly final weeks of the Iraqi “liberation” of Mosul is
leading to an aftermath where untold hundreds of corpses remain
buried under the rubble of the Old City. The corpses include some
ISIS fighters, of course, but also a massive number of civilians.

That’s
reflective of what Iraqi soldiers say were their orders in the final
days of the battle, kill anything that moves. Iraqi forces eagerly
did so, with one noting that they “killed
them all, men, women, and children. We killed everyone.”

There
is little chance that the dead will even be counted, with Iraqi
forces sending in armored bulldozers to cover over all the rubble,
crushing the uncovered bodies along with the former homes they lived
in.

One
Iraqi major insisted reports that the change came as the result of
Iraqi prisons being full was false, saying that Iraq has plenty of
prisons, but makes “very few arrests” in Mosul, noting that Iraqi
troops summarily execute people for more or less anything.

Civilians
caught going down to the Tigris River for water, because they’re
dying of thirst, are routinely killed, he noted. The reporters in the
city who would normally witness this sort of action are bullied,
their cameras’ memory confiscated, and convinced to quietly leave
town.

As
Iraqi officials were celebrating “victory” in Mosul in recent
weeks, attack helicopters were overhead just blocks away, targeting
everyone that was still moving in the shrinking ISIS districts. The
memory of what happened burned into the minds of the locals, Iraq now
has an uphill battle trying to govern Mosul as anything but an
occupied city, taken in the most brutal of fashions.

Met het schaamrood op de kaken moet is vaststellen een belangrijk artikel aangaande de bewapening van terreurgroepen door de VS te hebben laten liggen.

In dit artikel van Whitney Webb o.a. aandacht voor het enorme aantal wapens, inclusief chemische wapens (als Sarin gas), dat de VS in Syrië leverde aan de door haar gesteunde terreurgroepen (in het westen aangeduid als ‘gematigde rebellen)…… Daarnaast stopte de VS honderden miljoenen dollars in deze terreurgroepen…….. Militaire training was eveneens een manier van hulpverlening aan psychopathische moordenaars en verkrachters…………….

Lees hoe de VS willens en wetens enorme terreur tegen het Syrische volk heeft gesteund, zelf heeft uitgeoefend en uitoefent op dit volk, zogenaamd in het belang van de strijd tegen terreur…….

Ook vind je hier een uitleg over de terreurgroepen in Syrië en hoe die in feite allen gelieerd zijn aan Al Qaida Syrië of ook wel al-Nusra genaamd……. Jammer dat Webb geen kritiek levert op het Syrian Observatory of Human Rights (SOHR), een propagandaorgaan van de zogenaamde gematigde rebellen, dat ook door de reguliere afhankelijke (massa-) media wordt geciteerd……

Nearly
16 years since the 9/11 terrorist attacks, the United States is
inexplicably finding itself in bed with al-Qaeda, its alleged sworn
enemy. The group’s efforts to terrorize the population of Syria
have been rewarded with U.S. arms, training and other military aid.

(MPN) — Despite
ostensibly being the United States’ “Public Enemy No. 1”
following the 9/11 attacks, the international terror group al-Qaeda
has instead been a beneficiary of U.S. military aid in the post-9/11
world, particularly in Syria. With the Syrian conflict well into its
sixth year, al-Qaeda’s active branch in that war, widely known as
Jabhat al-Nusra or the al-Nusra Front, has continually received arms
and military protection from the United States, an outcome that is
clearly counterproductive to the U.S.’ global “War on Terror.”

Yet,
while the arming and propping up of al-Qaeda in Syria may not serve
the U.S.’ fundamental goal of eradicating terrorism, it certainly
has helped the U.S. political establishment pursue a decades-old goal
of regime change in regionally strategic Syria.

Gareth
Porter, an award-winning independent investigative journalist, and
historian told MintPress News that such tactics are part of the U.S.
government’s long-standing “bureaucratic habit of mind that
really privileges short-term advantages against state adversaries
over the long term, fundamental interests of the American people.”

In
this case, U.S. counter-terrorism efforts have been usurped by the
government’s broader geopolitical interests in reshaping the Middle
East. While Washington politicians and bureaucrats may be content
with having helped extend Syria’s “civil war” to their benefit
and the benefit of their allies, this reality has had the ugly
consequence of the U.S. willfully sponsoring
terrorists who torture civilians to death,
regularly conduct mass executions, kidnap children and mutilate the
bodies of their victims.

U.S.
funneled Libyan arms, chemical weapons to “rebels”

The
U.S.’ arming of al-Nusra began when the conflict in Syria was in
its infancy. In September 2011, the Obama administration began
providing logistical assistance to anti-Assad forces – namely the
Free Syrian Army, Syrian Revolutionaries Front, the Democratic Forces
of Syria and related groups – who were then supported by U.S.
allies Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Turkey. These groups received an
estimated $1 billion from
the CIA every year from 2012 until the program was scaled back in
2015. In addition, the U.S. government gave
another $500 million to
the “rebels” in 2014 which was intended to train thousands of
opposition fighters – an operation that turned out to be remarkably
ineffective.

A
year later, the CIA initiated weapon shipments to these
foreign-funded “rebels” by
funneling weapons that
once belonged to the fallen Gaddafi regime in Libya to
anti-government militias in Syria.

As
Gareth Porter details in his recent piece “How
America Armed Terrorists in Syria,”
the CIA continued to connect U.S. regional allies directly arming the
opposition with weapons from Libya and former Soviet bloc countries,
resulting in an estimated 8,000 tons of weapons being poured into
Syria in less than four months, from December 2012 to mid-March 2013.
The quantity of weapons that flooded into Syria from 2011 until that
time undoubtedly dwarfs this figure.

In
addition, the U.S. secured more than just conventional arms being
shipped to Syria. For instance, Pulitzer Prize-winning
journalist Seymour
Hersh exposed how
the Gaddafi regime’s chemical weapon stores were also sent to
foreign-backed opposition forces in Syria, including sarin gas. Hersh
has suggested that former Secretary of State Hillary
Clinton approved the chemical weapon transfers.

While
the U.S. was not directly arming al-Nusra specifically at this time,
the terror group’s effectiveness at combating the Syrian
government, along with their ruthlessness, quickly made them the
darlings of Saudi Arabia and Qatar, who were funding the “rebels”
with their own money and with U.S. assistance.

By
late 2012, the U.S. was well-aware that most of the arms it was
sending into the country were going to Syria’s al-Qaeda offshoot.
As the New
York Times reported in
October 2012, U.S. officials acknowledged off the record that “most”
of the arms shipped to Syrian “rebels” with U.S. support had
ended up in the hands of “hardline Islamic jihadists.”

However,
internal government communications reveal that the government knew
that such “jihadists” were al-Nusra. A now-declassified
U.S. government internal report from
2012 stated that the “the Salafists, the Muslim Brotherhood and AQI
[al-Qaeda in Iraq] are the major forces driving the insurgency in
Syria.” However, no efforts were taken to halt the U.S.-supported
flow of arms to such groups, which continued years after this
surprisingly frank admission.

Other
evidence from that same year has suggested that this “oversight”
was intentional. For instance, a
2012 email written
by Jacob Sullivan and sent to then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton
stated that “AQ [al-Qaeda] is on our side in Syria,” implying a
tacit alliance of sorts between the U.S. government and known
terrorist elements that dominated the Syrian armed opposition.

Despite
the true nature of the foreign-funded opposition being well-known to
U.S. officials, the arming of these so-called “rebel” groups only
became more rampant in the years that followed, with the
U.S. supplying
them with
heavy weaponry, such as anti-tank
missiles and anti-aircraft
weapons,
while also providing themwith
training.

The
advantage of such substantial support from the U.S. and its regional
allies has only led to the rapid growth and strengthening of
al-Nusra, enabling them to out-compete and eventually absorb nearly
all groups belonging to the U.S.-backed “moderate rebels” active
within Syria.

As
al-Nusra’s influence grew, many “moderate” groups who shared
similar ideas began to work alongside the terror group and eventually
became part of it or directly allied with it. Among the first to do
so were U.S.-supported groups such as Ahrar al-Sham and Jaysh
al-Islam, whose cooperation and close relationship with al-Nusra has
been documented by
the pro-opposition Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR).

But
the U.S. had no complaints when Jaysh al-Islam led
the Syrian opposition at
peace talks in Geneva in 2016. In addition, the U.S. has
consistently refused to
add al-Nusra collaborators to the UN terrorist list, prompting some
journalists to call such
a refusal an “unwitting U.S. admission” regarding who really
leads the “rebellion” in Syria.

According
to the
Russian Defense Ministry,
the vast majority of Syrian opposition groups supported by the U.S.
form “an integral part” of al-Nusra front. Even the mainstream
press in the United States has admitted that most “rebel” groups
have been overtaken by al-Nusra. For instance, in
February, the Washington
Postquoted an
official with the U.S.-backed Fastaqim rebel group as saying
“Al-Qaeda is eating us” and that al-Qaeda’s influence and power
led his group chose to join the al-Nusra affiliated group Ahrar
al-Sham.

As
University of Oklahoma Center for Middle East Studies Director Joshua
Landis told
Sputnik last year:

“The
United States has placed itself in a very difficult situation because
many of the rebel groups that it wants to become principal holders of
state power in Syria work hand and glove with Al-Qaeda.”

Supporting
al-Qaeda from the shadows

While
the arming of Syrian “rebels” that are either members of or
affiliated with al-Nusra should be controversial enough, the U.S.
government has also managed to aid the terror group in other ways,
offering them protection and covert tools to bolster their ranks.

The
U.S. State Department and the U.S. military have
long justified the
presence of U.S. military personnel and assets within Syria as being
directly aimed at fighting terrorists within that nation, namely
Daesh (ISIS). However, on repeated occasions, the U.S. has worked to
protect al-Nusra by
asking the Russian military and
Syrian government to avoid targeting the terror group.

Such
requests have led Russia to call the U.S.’ commitment to fighting
al-Nusra into question, with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey
Lavrov stating
in October last
year that the Russian government “doesn’t see any facts that the
U.S. is seriously battling al-Nusra.”

However,
the words of al-Nusra members themselves paint an even more
disturbing picture of direct U.S. involvement in aiding the group. In
an interview with
German newspaper Koelner
Stadt-Anzeiger,
an al-Nusra unit commander named Abu Al Ezz stated that when al-Nusra
was under siege from the Syrian and Russian governments that “we
had officers from Turkey, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Israel and America
here…Experts in the use of satellites, rockets, reconnaissance, and
thermal security cameras.”

When
asked to confirm the presence of U.S. instructors within its ranks,
Al Ezz replied “the Americans are on our side,” echoing a 2012
email exchange between Hillary Clinton and her advisor Jacob Sullivan
regarding al-Qaeda in Syria.

Perhaps
this explains why the “Stop Arming Terrorists Act” introduced by
Hawaiian Democratic Senator Tulsi Gabbard, which would bar federal
agencies from using taxpayer-backed funds to provide weapons,
training or any other type of support to terrorist cells such as
al-Qaeda, Daesh or any other group associated with them,was
only supported by 2 percent of
U.S. congressmen.

U.S.’
history of flirting with terrorist groups for geopolitical gain

While
the strategy of arming al-Qaeda affiliated terrorists and extremists
in Syria may seem bizarre, it is actually part of a long-standing
U.S. government practice that led to the terror group’s founding in
the first place. Indeed, al-Qaeda is the textbook example of the U.S.
creating and arming a terror group for political purposes.

Under
the presidency of Ronald Reagan, the U.S. government sent
billions of dollars in military aid to
the mujahideen in Afghanistan as part of a U.S.-supported “jihad”
against the Soviet Union. These extremist fighters, led by Osama bin
Laden, would soon become known as al-Qaeda. Gareth Porter told
MintPress that the creation of al-Qaeda under the Reagan
administration “set the precedent for the U.S. to support jihadi
forces where and when it is deemed to serve broader U.S. political
and diplomatic aims.”

Years
later, al-Qaeda’s relationship with the U.S. is best described as a
love-hate affair. As Garikai
Chengu wrote in Counterpunch in
2014: “Depending on whether a particular al-Qaeda terrorist group
in a given region furthers American interests or not, the U.S. State
Department either funds or aggressively targets that terrorist group.
Even as American foreign policy makers claim to oppose Muslim
extremism, they knowingly foment it as a weapon of foreign policy.”

However,
al-Qaeda is just one example of the U.S.’ aiding and abetting of
terror groups in order to realize broader geopolitical aims targeting
“enemies” of the U.S. political establishment. Latin America, for
instance, is rife with examples of how the U.S. trained and funded
terror groups to destabilize or topple leftist governments,
particularly in Nicaragua and El
Salvador in
the 1970s and 1980s.

Colombia
is another example that bares an uncanny resemblance to the U.S.’
policy in the Syrian conflict. Colombia, the U.S.’ closest ally in
South America, has
received over $4 billion in
U.S. military assistance since 2000. Much of that assistance has gone
to elements of the military – including right-wing paramilitary
groups – that the U.S. State Department had “vetted” and
“determined had complied with human rights requirements.”

While
that vetting was taking place, Colombia reported a surge in the
Colombian military murdering civilians in cold blood, resulting in
329 civilians killed in 2007. The Los
Angeles Times reported that
47 percent of those murders had been conducted by the very army units
previously “vetted” by the State Department.

Iraq
is another example where, for civilians, the line between “rebel”
terrorist and “army” terrorist is becoming increasingly thin.
There, the U.S. recently doubled down, promising to continue sending
aid to elements of the Iraqi Security Forces that have documented
carrying out human rights violations and war crimes. Many of the more
notorious units within the Iraqi Security Forces were
trained by former
U.S. special forces operative James Steele, who first made a name for
himself training U.S.-backed paramilitary forces that terrorized El
Salvador in the 1980s.

The
U.S.’ well-documented history of supporting and using terror groups
to fulfill geopolitical goals is so convincing that even Lt. General
William Odom, director of the National Security Agency under Ronald
Reagan, has
noted that “By
any measure, the U.S. has long used terrorism. In ‘78-79 the Senate
was trying to pass a law against international terrorism – in every
version they produced, the lawyers said the U.S. would be in
violation.”

Today,
little has changed, especially given the true nature of U.S.
involvement with the “moderate” opposition in Syria. Now, the
Trump administration has taken to inventing chemical attacks to blame
on the Syrian government before
they even happen,
again hoping to justify Western intervention in Syria.

The
timing couldn’t be better, as only Western
intervention is
guaranteed to save Syria’s struggling al-Qaeda “rebels” and
create the next failed state in the Middle East.

In een artikel van Shahtahmasebi op Anti-Media (11 juli jl.) stelt de schrijver dat er een behoorlijke stank hangt rond de ‘bevrijding’ van Mosul, niet alleen de letterlijke stank van lijken die nog onder het puin liggen (lijken van meer dan 4.000 mensen die werden vermoord middels bombardementen), maar ook een figuurlijke stank……

Volgens Shahtahmasebi had de VS in 2014 kunnen voorkomen, dat IS de grens van Syrië naar Irak overstak. De VS liet dit moordend tuig hun gang gaan, zodat het leger van de VS kon deelnemen aan het verdrijven van IS uit Irak. Daarmee legitimeerde de VS voor zichzelf en haar hielenlikkende partners, het besluit om in de achtervolging van IS vanuit Irak de grens met Syrië over te steken en zo het reguliere Syrische leger te kunnen aanvallen, zoals intussen meermaals is gebeurd………. De VS stak dan ook geen poot uit, toen bleek dat IS grote aantallen VS wapens, Humvee’s tanks en helikopters buit maakte in Irak, terwijl het makkelijk IS aan had kunnen vallen, dit nog naast minstens 2 VS leveringen van wapens en munitie direct aan IS……….

De VS heeft haar tactiek pas veranderd, nadat Rusland het reguliere Syrische leger te hulp schoot en IS werkelijk en effectief werd bestreden……….

Het gebruik van terreurgroepen is overigens een tactiek die de VS ook in Syrië gebruikte: de VS liet IS en andere terreurgroepen (‘gematigde rebellen’) haar gang gaan in Syrië, waarmee dit moordend en verkrachtend tuig werd en wordt gebruikt als een extra legermacht tegen het reguliere Syrische leger….. Voorts heeft de VS de ‘gematigde rebellen’ in Syrië van wapens, munitie en training voorzien, al deze ‘gematigde rebellen’ zijn gelieerd aan Al Qaida, zo bleek onlangs (waar Saoedi-Arabië de financiën voor deze terreurgroepen regelt, naast ook levering van wapens en munitie)…… Niet voor niets ook. dat de VS onlangs het besluit nam Al Qaida Syrië van de terreurlijst te halen…….

Jammer dat Shahtahmasebi in zijn artikel stelt dat Iraanse troepen zich te buiten zijn gegaan aan oorlogsmisdaden, daar is geen nanometer bewijs voor. Waarschijnlijk maakt hij de fout, om sjiitische terreurgroepen, die meevechten met de Iraakse coalitie (die in feite door de VS wordt aangestuurd), als Iraans militairen aan te duiden. Iraanse militairen die zouden worden gepakt voor oorlogsmisdaden begaan in Irak of Syrië, zullen zwaar worden gestraft door Iraanse militaire rechtbanken……

Het aantal doden dat Shahtahmasebi noemt is intussen zwaar achterhaald, onlangs werd bekend gemaakt, dat er de laatste 9 maanden in Mosul meer dan 40.000 inwoners zijn vermoord (vooral middels VS bombardementen….)….*

Media Says the US Just Liberated Mosul: Here’s What Really Happened

(ANTIMEDIA) — The
mainstream media appears to
be celebrating ISIS’ recent defeat in Mosul, albeit with
some reservations.
The media is largely using the word “liberation,” which indicates
the people of Mosul have been freed from a monstrous force by a
friendly, benevolent one.

In
reality, the “liberation” of Mosul paints a dark, horrifying
picture of America’s foreign policy when one realizes how ISIS took
hold of Mosul in the first place. As Anti-Media in summarized in
September of last year, the U.S. allowed ISIS to gain control of
Mosul quite deliberately:

“In
June 2014, ISIS crossed the Syrian border into Iraq, effortlessly
taking the strategic oil-rich cities of Mosul and Baiji and
almost making it as far as Baghdad. Amid the terror group’s
frightening victory, they uploaded images
and footage of drive-by-shootings, large-scale death marches, and
mass graves (following the mass
executions of Iraqi soldiers).

“ISIS
militants claimed massive quantities of American
military equipment, including
entire truckloads of humvees, helicopters, tanks, and artillery as
their own. This was no secret to Washington, or even the world, as
the militants photographed and recorded themselves and publicly
flaunted their activity on social media.”

Was
there a good reason the American military sat on its hands despite
knowing full well that this was going on? As Anti-Media explained
further:

“What
did the U.S. do in response? Nothing. In spite of all the American
bases in Iraq and
the government’s ability to perform all manner of illicit activity
— including assassinating Muammar Gaddafi in Libya using a drone
that was flown out of Sicily by a pilot who operated the vehicle from
a naval base in Nevada‚
the
U.S. couldn’t do anything to stop ISIS rapid advancements. Was
there a problem preventing the U.S. military from conducting air
strikes? Clearly not, as the U.S. had been launching drone strikes in
Pakistan at around
the same time ISIS
advanced.”

The
U.S. allowed ISIS to gain this significant portion of territory
before moving into Iraq with an air war that was designed to
pave the way for a segued operation into Syrian territory. The U.S.
couldn’t justify an intervention into Syria without going into Iraq
first, and this was quite
clearly the underlying intention of
this operation the whole time, as evidenced by the
U.S.’ obsession with
the Syrian conflict throughout both
the Obama and Trump administrations.

Since
the U.S. moved back into Iraq in 2014, the U.S. has dropped 84,000
bombs in Iraq and Syria up until the end of May 2017.
As Counterpunch explains,
this is nearly three times the number of bombs and missiles dropped
on Iraq during  George W. Bush’s “Shock and Awe” campaign
in 2003.

Monitoring
group Airwars’ currently estimates that the minimum number of
civilians killed by the U.S.-led coalition’s campaign in Iraq and
Syria has reached roughly 4,354
since the operation began in 2014. The number is likely higher, but
we will never know the exact total because up until a month ago, the
U.S. only had
two personnel investigating
casualties in Iraq and Syria full time.

Under
President Trump, the number of bombs being dropped increased rapidly
after Trump gave complete
control to
the military generals on the ground to call in airstrikes with little
oversight. One such air raid in Mosul saw
close to
300 civilians die, and the fact that the strike had been called in by
Iraqi forces on the ground demonstrates the immense amount of scope
that Trump has delegated to call in airstrikes with little regard to
international law and the principle of proportionality.

The
battle for Mosul also drew in
Iran-backed Shia militias, who have been known to terrorize Iraq’s
Sunni population (including torturing
civilians).
No one doubts that ISIS is a brutal and abhorrent group, but the
people who are supposedly “liberating” the local population —
whether it’s the U.S. military, the Iraqi armed forces, or the
various militia on the ground — appear to be no better.

Now
that these Iran-backed militias have firmly planted themselves in
Iraq, the U.S. is left with an ultimate dilemma of how to kick
them out and
counter Iran’s expanding influence. In all seriousness, the battle
for Mosul is only paving the way for further occupation and laying
the groundwork for America to pursue its regional ambitions in its
never-ending quest to confront Iran.

According to
the U.N., more than 742,000 Iraqis have fled the battle in Mosul,
with approximately 10,000 new civilians fleeing every day. For a
country that hates
refugees,
the U.S. certainly plays a significant role in creating an endless
supply of them.

And
for those civilians still trapped in the city, their lives will never
be the same. As Airwars explains:

“According
to city officials, as
much as 80 per cent of West Mosul has been completely destroyed.
Civilians still emerging from the battlefield are often bloodied and
starving – traumatised by Iraqi and Coalition bombardments; and by
atrocities commited [sic] by ISIS.

“According
to reporters accompanying Iraqi forces, the stench of death is
everywhere in the Old City – with civil defence officials reporting
that as many as 4,000
bodies still remain unrecovered in
the rubble. It is likely to be many months before the full death toll
is known.”

That
is quite the liberation. Even if Mosul really has been “liberated”
by the U.S.-backed coalition, no one seems to be talking about the
fact that ISIS was only able to conquer strategic areas like Mosul
under the safety of the Obama administration’s policies. Leaked
audio of
former Secretary of State John Kerry when he was a senator confirmed
the U.S. was watching ISIS grow, and in turn, the hoped this would
bring Syrian President Bashar al-Assad to the negotiating table (you
can listen to the full audio here).

You
can’t target a group as an enemy in one location and view it as a
useful proxy army in another. Indeed, ISIS was always a useful proxy
force for the anti-Assad coalition, as Kerry admitted.

Essentially,
the U.S. allowed ISIS to gain control of large swaths of Iraq and
Syria so they could justify interventions in these war-ravaged
nations.

As
far as the people of Iraq are concerned, there is only one
winner here:
the military-industrial complex, which secured massive
years-long contracts to
make, supply, and drop over 84,000 bombs on a territory that never
should have been in the hands of ISIS in the first place.

Afgelopen woensdag meldde Anti-Media dat volgens The Independent, dat speciale rapporten mocht inzien, er in 9 maanden tijd meer dan 40.000 burgers in Mosul zijn omgekomen (lees: vermoord….)….

‘Vreemd genoeg’ haalde dit bericht niet de reguliere Nederlandse media (althans ik kan dit bericht niet terugvinden, buiten het feit, dat dit niet werd gemeld op Radio1 en BNR)……. ‘Vreemd’ daar in het geval van de bevrijding van Oost-Aleppo, de bevrijding van de vreselijke terreur die de ‘gematigde’ terreurgroepen op de bevolking uitoefende, er bij elke dode hysterische werd gereageerd in deze media, dit terwijl die doden werden gemeld door terreurgroepen….* Ach ja, er zijn geen onafhankelijke ‘massamedia organen’ over in ons land…..

Het reguliere Syrische leger en de Russen besloten 2 maanden voor de uiteindelijke inname van Oost-Aleppo, te stoppen met bombardementen, daar die teveel burgerslachtoffers zouden maken. De situatie in West-Mosul was nog veel gevaarlijker, daar de oude huizen die al veel te dicht op elkaar stonden, veel sneller zouden instorten. Ondanks dat bleef de VS gewoon doorgaan met de bombardementen……..

Volgens The Independent zijn er meerdere daders verantwoordelijk voor al die burgerslachtoffers: het Irakese leger (en politie), bombardementen en IS. Vreemd dat er bij die bombardementen niet werd gesteld, dat deze hoofdzakelijk door de VS werden uitgevoerd en het zal u niet verbazen, dat verreweg het grootste aantal slachtoffers is gevallen door die bombardementen……

De schrijver van het volgende artikel, Shahtahmasebi stelt zich aan het eind van zijn schrijven af, of je niet moet spreken van terreur als er zoveel mensen in zo’n korte tijd om het leven komen (vermoord, Ap)…… Het is niet gepast hierom te lachen, maar de vraag stellen is wat mij betreft hetzelfde als deze beantwoorden. Zoals al vaker op deze plek gesteld: de VS is de grootste terreurentiteit op aarde!!

(ANTIMEDIA Op-ed) — According
to intelligence reports revealed
exclusively to
the Independent,
a prominent U.K.-based news outlet, more than 40,000 civilians may
have been killed in the nine-month long battle of Mosul.

The Independent claims
these documents show that residents of Mosul were killed by Iraqi
ground forces, as well as by air strikes and ISIS fighters.

According
to Hoshyar Zebari, who until recently was a senior minister in
Baghdad, many bodies “are still buried under the rubble.”

“Kurdish
intelligence believes that over 40,000 civilians have been killed as
a result of massive firepower used against them, especially by the
federal police, air strikes and Isis itself,” Mr.
Zebari added.

The
monitoring group Airwars recently estimated that
at least 4,000 civilians were still buried under the rubble in Mosul,
but we will likely never know the exact number. Up until a month
ago, the U.S. only had
two personnel investigating
casualties in Iraq and Syria full time.

Zebari
also emphasized that the “unrelenting
artillery bombardment by units of the Iraqi federal police, in
practice a heavily armed military unit, had caused immense
destruction and loss of life in west Mosul,” according
to the Independent.

Whether
we like to admit it or not, the Trump administration bears a huge
responsibility for these reported civilian deaths. It was
Trump’s decision to
give extraordinary scope to his military generals to call in
airstrikes with very little oversight that has led to an increase in
bombs and widespread civilian suffering. Giving the Iraqi army the
ability to call in airstrikes is also somewhat controversial
considering they have a history
of committing human rights abuses.
One of the airstrikes called in by Iraqi forces killed
almost 300
civilians in a single bombardment.

According
to the Independent,
even though Zebari’s figure of 40,000 civilians is higher than any
other previous reports, the intelligence service of the Kurdistan
Regional government “has
a reputation for being extremely accurate and well-informed.” Zebari
also complained about the levels of corruption that have plagued the
Iraqi government and its military. It is for this reason that some
soldiers would
rather throw ISIS militants off rooftops than
hand them over to authorities, where they would allegedly be able to
bribe their way out of custody.

Further,
as Amnesty
International argued
in a recent report entitled
“At Any Cost: The Civilian Catastrophe in West Mosul, Iraq,” a
lot of the damage to Mosul was done by artillery shells and rockets.
The evidence compiled by Amnesty appears
to show a greater and more indiscriminate use of firepower by
pro-government forces over the past six months, which wreaked havoc
across the densely populated areas.

Given
the U.S. was leading this Mosul campaign, the responsibility is on
them to do their utmost to protect civilian lives.

If
Zebari’s figures are accurate, one has to question if the price of
“liberating” Mosul from a terrorist group that could
barely kill three U.S. soldiers last year –
let alone 40,000 civilians in a nine-month period – is worth it.

If
a military and its associated forces kill over 40,000 civilians in
such a short period of time, perhaps they are the real terrorists.
They are more than likely
war criminals,
too.

Beste bezoeker ik had een bericht over de oorlog in Syrië nog niet geplaatst* of BNR’s levende rollade Hammelburg had VVD EU slaapbol en grofgraaier van Baalen in de uitzending.

Onderwerp: het volgens de Washington Post intrekken van VS steun voor de ‘gematigde rebellen’ (lees terroristische moordenaars en verkrachters)…….. De VS steunde deze groepen via een speciaal CIA programma, dezelfde CIA die op zich al een terreurorganisatie van formaat is!!

U had het waarschijnlijk al begrepen: van Baalen vindt het onverstandig dat de hulp aan deze ‘gematigde’ terreurgroepen wordt stopgezet en hen te verplichten de wapens neer te leggen…… Bovendien zo stelde hij, is het moeilijk te zien welke groep je wel of niet moet steunen……… ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! Ja moeilijk hè van Baalen, als je ziet dat al die groepen gelieerd zijn aan Al Qaida……

Zo te horen heeft van Baalen er geen moeite mee groepen als Al Qaida te steunen als ze het VS doel, het omverwerpen van de democratisch gekozen regering Assad maar nastreven en ja, ach als die wapens dan in verkeerde handen vallen, pech gehad……. Alsof het niet al lang duidelijk is, dat het bewapenen van terreurgroepen alleen tot veel grotere ellende leidt……. Ach ja, zover kan van Baalen niet doordenken, daar mist hij eenvoudigweg de capaciteit voor……….

Na een paar minuten gezwets van van Baalen de radio afgestemd op BBC World Service en verdomd tegelijkertijd besprak men daar dezelfde zaak.

De presentator van het programma sprak met de topman van het vrije Syrische leger, een generaal die zijn commando voert vanuit Zuid-Turkije……. Met andere woorden: deze hufter behartigt Turkse belangen, immers anders zou hem de toegang tot Turkije zijn geweigerd!!

De generaal van ‘het vrije Syrische leger’ spuugde zijn commentaar in de telefoon, waar hij de VS nog net niet van verraad betichtte…..  Deze schoft durfde nog te spreken over het geweld tegen het Syrische volk, terwijl juist de terreurgroepen, zoals zijn ‘vrije Syrische leger’ een waar terreurbewind hebben gevoerd in de gebieden waar zij het voor het zeggen hadden en hebben.

Waar in de reguliere media en door ‘politici’ als van Baalen nooit over wordt gesproken is het feit dat alle religies die Syrië ‘rijk’ is, in vrede naast elkaar leefden onder Assad. Tekenend in dit geval: de vluchtelingen uit gebieden die door het reguliere Syrische leger zijn bevrijd, keren in grote getale terug naar hun huis (althans als dat nog staat……). Deze teruggekeerde gevluchte mensen van diverse geloven, leven nu onder het bewind van Assad weer in vrede naast elkaar en zijn eensgezind in hun oordeel over de ‘gematigde terreurgroepen’ >> moorddadig geteisem van de richel!! Vergeet daarnaast niet, dat de terreurgroepen bomvol strijders zitten, die niet uit Syrië maar uit het buitenland komen………

Bernard Hammelburg (BNR): Assad is een monster waar we mee moeten samenwerken………

BNR’s oliebol Bernard Hammelburg maakt sinds enige tijd op de volgende manier reclame voor zijn programma ‘De Wereld’: ‘Om de ingewikkelde wereldpolitiek te kunnen volgen, heb je een soort GPS nodig, dat kompas is BNR De Wereld….‘ ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha!

Een zwaar disfunctionerend kompas wel te verstaan, daar gaf kompas Hammelburg vanmorgen nog eens een voorbeeld van. Met een herhaling van een keer of tien noemde Hammelburg het zééééér interessante woord ‘realpolitik’. Zo is realpolitik nodig voor samenwerking met het monster Assad (en de Russen) om tot een eind aan de oorlog in Syrië te komen, aldus de levend geworden rollade Hammelburg.

Kompas Hammelburg stelde voorts dat de VS niet goed weet welke ‘verzetsgroepjes’* het moet steunen en daarom steunt de VS volgens Hammelburg in feite voornamelijk alleen de Koerden in Syrië…….. Kijk alweer een misser van ‘het kompas’, immers de VS steunt meerdere terreurgroepen (het echte woord voor die schoften) in Syrië, terreurgroepen die buiten de Koerden en IS, gelieerd zijn aan Al Qaida…… Een maand of anderhalf geleden verklaarde de VS zelfs dat Al Qaida Syrië van de internationale terreurlijst is gehaald, m.a.w. de VS kan die terreurgroepen nu helemaal volproppen met wapens en munitie (plus militaire training…)……..

Kompas Hammelburg stelde voorts dat Assad een paar maanden geleden inderdaad gifgas heeft gebruikt tegen de Syrische bevolking in Khan Sheikhoun……. Deskundigen hebben uit en te na gesteld, dat er gezien de omgang met de slachtoffers geen sprake kan zijn geweest van het gebruik van Sarin gas en dat aan de hand van getuigenverklaringen geconcludeerd kan worden, dat een opslag met o.a. chloorgas werd getroffen bij een bombardement op een opslagplaats en kantoor van Al Qaida (o.a. ook al-Nusra genoemd)…….. Vreemd genoeg besteedden de internationale massamedia geen aandacht aan het feit, dat Al Qaida grondstoffen voor het maken van gifgas en zelfs gifgas bezat op die plek………..

Hammelburg is zelfs nog steeds overtuigd van het ‘feit’ dat Syrië in 2013 ook een grootschalige gifgas aanval heeft ingezet tegen het Syrische volk, terwijl deze grove leugen al lang is doorgeprikt, ook toen gebruikten de ‘gematigde rebellen’ gifgas en niet het Syrische leger……

Assad een monster? Vreemd dat in 2014 een grote meerderheid van het Syrische volk hem dan tot president koos, in door internationale waarnemers goedgekeurde verkiezingen…… Assad is zo’n groot monster, dat mensen die voor het geweld van de ‘gematigde’ terreurgroepen zijn gevlucht, massaal terugkeren naar huis, of de plek waar dat huis stond, zolang deze zijn veiliggesteld door het reguliere Syrische leger………

De VS was al vanaf 2006 bezig met het opzetten van een opstand in Syrië, daar Assad pijpleidingen over zijn grond weigerde…… In 2011 transporteerde o.a. de VS grote aantallen terroristen, waaronder zelfs IS leden van Libië naar Syrië, dit om te strijden tegen Assad…….. Kortom als er één monster is als het gaat om Syrië (en het Midden-Oosten), is het de VS wel!

Als u een kompas nodig heeft kan u die beter in de winkel aanschaffen, kompas Hammelburg is al jaren kaduuk!!! Hammelburg is een simpele lobbyist en propagandist voor het uiterst agressieve optreden van de VS (en haar waakhond de NAVO) in landen waar het niets te zoeken heeft, agressie die maar met een woord kan worden gekenschetst: grootschalige terreur!! Bovendien kan je stellen dat Hammelburg een lobbyist is voor het militair-industrieel complex, dat belang heeft bij zoveel mogelijk oorlogsvoering op onze kleine aarde……. Kortom Hammelburg is een vuile schoft!

Mosul, de duizenden doden door VS bombardementen >> Mosul Families Complain Overuse of Airstrikes Killed Thousands

Zoals al vaker opgemerkt in dit blog: de Irak-coalitie (o.l.v. de VS) bleef tot het eind toe West-Mosul bombarderen (vooral door de luchtmacht van de VS), terwijl men wist dat dit tot een ongelofelijk aantal doden zou leiden, zeker daar in de oude binnenstad de huizen dicht op elkaar staan en de oude huizen al niet stevig waren.

De reguliere media hebben hier geen aandacht aan besteed, terwijl ze bij de bevrijding van Oost-Aleppo dagelijks uit de hysterische bol gingen, over het ‘barbaarse optreden’ van Rusland en het Syrische leger. Echter in tegenstelling tot de ‘bevrijders’ van Mosul, besloten de Russen en het Syrische leger al 2 maanden voor de uiteindelijke bevrijding te stoppen met bombardementen op Oost-Aleppo, waardoor het leven van duizenden inwoners werd gespaard. Ook daarvoor geen aandacht in de reguliere (massa-) media……..

Information Clearing House (ICH) kwam een paar dagen geleden met getuigenissen van bewoners uit West-Mosul, die aangeven dat er veelal zelfs zinloos werd gebombardeerd, daar er geen of amper strijders van IS aanwezig waren in hun wijken dan wel huizenblokken……..

Het aantal door de VS met hun bombardementen vermoordde burgers in West-Mosul moet ongelofelijk groot zijn. echter het bergen van de lijken zal nog maanden duren…….

“There
were very few Daesh [Isis fighters]
in our neighbourhood, but they dropped a lot of bombs on them,”
says Qais, 47, a resident of the al-Jadida district of Mosul.
“We reckon that the airstrikes here killed between 600 and 1,000
people.”

He
shows pictures on his phone of a house that had stood beside his own
before it was hit by a bomb or missile that had reduced it to a heap
of smashed-up bricks. “There were no Daesh in the house,” says
Qais. But there were seven members of the Abu Imad family living
there, of whom five were killed along with two passers-by.

People
in west Mosul say that the intensity of the bombardment from the air
was out of all proportion to the number of Isis fighters on the
ground. Saad Amr, a volunteer medic, worked in both east and west
Mosul during the nine-month siege. He says that “the airstrikes on
east Mosul were fewer but more accurate, while on the west there were
far more of them, but they were haphazard.”

Nobody
knows how many civilians died in Mosul because many of the bodies are
still buried under the rubble in 47 degrees heat. Asked to estimate
how many people had been killed in his home district of al-Thawra,
Saad Amr said: “we don’t know because houses were often full of
an unknown number of displaced people from other parts of the city.”

Some
districts are so badly damaged that it is impossible to reach them.
We heard that there had been heavy airstrikes on the districts of
Zanjily and Sahba and, from a distance, we could see broken roofs
with floors hanging down like concrete flaps. But we could not get
there in a car because the streets leading to them were choked with
broke masonry and burned out cars.

BBC World Service radio bracht afgelopen zaterdag ‘een positief bericht’ over Mosul. Kijk daar houdt men tegenwoordig van, positieve berichtgeving…..

Nog ‘een minpuntje’ de verslaggever vond het nodig om te zeggen, dat er maandenlang strijd is gevoerd om Mosul…… ‘ Gelukkig’ begon deze flapdrol niet over de enorme tol aan burgers die deze strijd heeft gekost…….. Dat moeten er dik 10.000 zijn. 10.000 vermoordde burgers uit de westelijke oude stad, waarover de VS een tapijt aan bommen heeft laten regenen, terwijl men wist dat daardoor de oude huizen snel zouden instorten……..

Rusland, dat in het westen als barbaars wordt afgeschilderd, had wel het fatsoen om bij de bevrijding van Oost-Aleppo al een paar maanden voor de uiteindelijke bevrijding te stoppen met bombarderen, juist om burgerslachtoffers te voorkomen………

Nee ‘fijn’ dat de verslaggever niet repte over het enorme aantal slachtoffers dat in de strijd om Mosul is gevallen, daar wordt je maar depressief van…….

Gisteren berichtte ik al over de BBC W.S. propaganda i.z. Mosul* en het verschil in berichtgeving van deze ‘onafhankelijke zendgemachtigde’ t.a.v. de bevrijding van Oost-Aleppo (Syrië). Daar besteedde ik ook aandacht aan de uitlatingen van de directeur van Airwars, die in feite het zeer foute handelen van de VS vergoelijkte.

Zonder enig commentaar van de BBC presentator lepelde hij het standpunt op van het VS (oorlogs-) commando, dat er weliswaar duizenden dode burgerslachtoffers zijn gevallen, maar dat het aantal slachtoffers bij een dergelijke strijd 50 jaar of meer geleden, veel groter zou zijn geweest…….. Het is dat het onderwerp zo triest is, anders zou je je werkelijk doodlachen…….. Alsof een moordenaar zich vrijpleit met het argument, dat hij/zij een aantal jaren geleden veel meer slachtoffers zou hebben gemaakt…….

Volgens deze Airwars hufter heeft de coalitie alles gedaan om zo min mogelijk burgers te vermoorden (dat laatste is mijn woord, zoals u zult begrijpen)……… Oh vandaar het blijven bombarderen van een stadsdeel waar de vaak zeer oude gebouwen dicht op elkaar staan, zodat je zeker weet dat een flink aantal gebouwen zal instorten…….. Een stadsdeel dat bovendien ‘bomvol’ burgers zat……..

Daarover gesproken: volgens deze ‘deskundige’ gebruikte IS de burgers als menselijk schild, iets waarover hij eerder NB durfde te zeggen, dat het nu eenmaal moeilijk aan de buitenkant te zien is of er burgers of IS leden in gebouwen zitten…….

Voorts stelde deze Airwars figuur dat burgerslachtoffers maken in een oorlog niet verboden is volgens het oorlogsrecht, maar dat ze zoveel mogelijk moeten worden voorkomen…….. Kijk dat doe je niet met luchtbombardementen, zoals Rusland en het Syrische leger stopten met luchtbombardementen op Aleppo en dat al 2 maanden voor de uiteindelijke bevrijding……

Het moorddadige VS legercommando wast de handen in onschuld en stelt dat zij alleen bombarderen op verzoek van de Iraakse troepen op de grond…….. Alsof dit commando niet wist dat er (zoals gezegd) een groot aantal burgerslachtoffers zou vallen bij bombardementen op de oude binnenstad van West-Mosul…… Hoor zojuist dat Amnesty International (Britse tak) IS beschuldigt van het gebruiken van burgers als menselijk schild……. Alsof je mensen nog als schild nodig hebt in een situatie zoals die in West Mosul onder de vreselijke en onverantwoorde bombardementen door de VS……….

Ook de VS kolonel Ryan Dillon liet gisteren weten dat IS burgers als menselijk schild gebruikte, verder durfde deze psychopathische schoft weten dat de VS transparant is, als het gaat om het melden van burgerslachtoffers……….. ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! (ja, excuus..) De VS vertelt zo goed als niets over het aantal burgerslachtoffers dat valt bij hun smerige drone terreuraanvallen >> meer dan 90% van die vermoorde slachtoffers is niet eens verdacht (deze drone aanvallen worden uitgevoerd op terreurverdachten, m.a.w. het zijn standrechtelijke executies, ofwel enorme [oorlogs-] misdaden….)……..

Dan nog: de VS dat transparant is over het aantal burgerslachtoffers, lullig genoeg zijn de aantallen doden die de VS meldt, voor 99% veel lager dan het werkelijke aantal……..

Overigens werd er vanmorgen gemeld dat de Iraakse coalitie (o.l.v. de VS) enorme oorlogsmisdaden heeft begaan bij de bevrijding van West-Mosul……………

Mosul ‘bevrijd’ en BBC anti-Assad propaganda……….

In de aanloop, ten tijde en na de bevrijding van Aleppo, stond BBC World Service radio bomvol anti-Russische en Syrische propaganda. De White Helmets waren en zijn de grote helden van de BBC, die haar berichtgeving voor een groot deel over nam van het Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR). SOHR is een organisatie van één man, die contact had en heeft met terreurgroepen in Syrië, u weet wel, de terreurgroepen, die men hier eufemistisch ‘gematigde rebellen’ is gaan noemen……..

De eigenaar en voor zover ik weet, de eerste en enige medewerker, is een gewezen misdadiger, die Syrië ontvluchtte daar de politie hem zocht………. Overigens ook de NOS citeert het SOHR regelmatig en u zal begrijpen dat ook de andere publieke omroepen, precies zoals die ene andere nationale nieuwszender BNR, gebruik maken van deze berichtgeving…… ‘Zeg maar’ zoals de hele reguliere westerse pers………..

Regelmatig laat men ook graag mensen aan het woord, die stellen te worden gezocht door de Syrische politie, waar men als reden natuurlijk opgeeft, politiek vervolgd te worden…….

Altijd waren het Rusland en Syrië die onmenselijk zouden optreden, terwijl de militairen van deze landen minstens tien keer corridors in Aleppo hebben ingesteld, die vervolgens werden beschoten door die ‘geweldige gematigde moordenaars en verkrachters…….’ Bij de bevrijding van het laatste deel van Oost-Aleppo, stopten de Syriërs en de Russen al 2 maanden voor de uiteindelijke bevrijding met luchtbombardementen, dit om zoveel mogelijk dodelijke burgerslachtoffers te voorkomen…..

Iets waar de VS nu al meer dan 2 maanden schijt aan heeft gehad in het Iraakse West-Mosul…….. Het aantal vermoordde burgers wordt door sommigen al geschat op meer dan 10.000!!!

Dezelfde VS overigens die bij de BBC geen fout kan maken, vandaar ook dat de BBC niets zegt over de illegaliteit van de VS terreuracties waaraan ook Groot-Brittannië heeft deelgenomen of nog aan deelneemt…….. Niets over de enorme terreur die de VS en de NAVO landen hebben laten neerdalen op landen als Libië , Afghanistan, Irak en nu weer Syrië (oh ja, de VS bombardeert bij tijd en wijle ook nog eens het door honger getroffen Jemen, soms zelfs met kruisraketten en zo nu en dan worden daar speciale grondtroepen (psychopathische moordenaars) ingezet!!! De mensen sterven als vliegen in Jemen, dit vanwege de door Saoedi-Arabië en de VS veroorzaakte hongersnood en cholera uitbraak* 

Trouwens de komende tijd zal zelfs de BBC er niet onderuit kunnen te rapporteren, dat de vreselijke oorlogsmisdadiger Tony Blair voor de rechter is gedaagd o.a. vanwege oorlogsmisdaden…… Dit vanwege zijn smerige manipulaties die tot de illegale oorlog tegen Irak hebben geleid. Eindelijk! Nu de rest nog, inclusief Balkenende en de Hoop Scheffer, de twee CDA schoften die met de pet in de hand bij de dienstingang van het Witte Huis hun voorwaardelijke steun uitspraken voor de vreselijke moordpartij, die Bush in Irak was begonnen……. Ach, die 1,5 miljoen vermoordde Irakezen, ‘maakt ‘t uit????’ Wie mist die lui nou? Dat is wel een aanstelling als secretaris-generaalschap van de NAVO waard! Ja toch??? ‘Logisch’ dat je zo’n ploert ook nog eens les laat geven aan de universiteit, ongelofelijk!!!

Na de bevrijding van Aleppo zochten BBC verslaggevers of correspondenten mensen op die vanuit Aleppo waren gevlucht………. Uiteraard had men de meest beestachtige verhalen over de politie en het leger ‘van Assad’, terwijl men er niet bij vertelde, waarom die mensen ‘hun stad’ waren ontvlucht……..U snapt ‘t al: familie van IS leden, of van andere tegen Assad vechtende terreurgroepen………… Evenwel mensen die vrije passage de stad uit kregen van dat ‘wreedaardig’ Syrische leger (oké elk leger is klote, al zijn er gradaties)…….

Nu met grotere tussenpozen, maar alsnog minstens 5 keer per week** heeft men op de BBC anti-Assad propaganda en verdomd het zijn alleen tegenstanders van Assad die je hoort, terwijl hij nog in 2014 met meerderheid van stemmen werd gekozen tot president, met een goedkeuring van internationale toezichthouders (op het verloop van de verkiezingen)

Niet één keer heb ik op de BBC getuigenissen gehoord van mensen die waren blijven wonen, waar ze woonden tijdens de bevrijding van Aleppo, geen vragen over de vreselijke terreur die deze mensen mee hebben moeten maken, van de zogenaamde gematigde rebellen……. Iets waar de BBC vandaag wel over spreekt, na de ‘bevrijding’ van Mosul.

Het is duidelijk: de BBC wil geen positieve verhalen over de regering Assad, veronderstel! Wat heeft de bevolking eraan te weten, dat de verschillende geloven weer gewoon naast elkaar leven in door het Syrische leger bevrijd gebied en de mensen blij zijn, met de bevrijding van het door het westen gesteunde terreurtuig (u weet het: de gematigde rebellen)

Zojuist was de directeur van Airwars te horen op BBC W.S. Volgens hem zijn er weliswaar duizenden slachtoffers gevallen in Mosul, dat nu bevrijd zou zijn (er zijn nog steeds IS strijders in West-Mosul..), maar dat het aantal slachtoffers nu veel lager ligt dan bij vergelijkbare oorlogen van 50 jaar of langer geleden….. De klootzak verdedigde de VS bombardementen nog (zie hoe Rusland en het Syrische leger dit aanpakten in Aleppo) en stelde dat het nu eenmaal moeilijk te zien is, of er burgers of IS strijders in een gebouw zitten……… Wellicht later een volledig bericht over het praatje van deze smerige koekwaus dat werd aangevuld met leugens van de woordvoerder van het VS commando, kolonel Ryan Dillon……

*  Elke dag raken 7.000 burgers in Jemen besmet met cholera, volgens het Rode Kruis zijn er nu al 300.000 cholera patiënten…….. (zo berichtte de BBC vanmiddag)

** Ik beluister zoals u begrijpt veel Radio1 en BNR, hoewel Radio1 nu vanaf 12 uur ‘s middags taboe is vanwege de meer dan achterlijke Tour de Stimulance’. U weet wel met Mart Smeets, de ‘sportverslaggever’ die Armstrong nog steeds een geweldige renner vindt….. ha! ha! ha! ha! Hé waar heb je je armbandje van Armstrong verstopt Smeets, toch niet……….??
